Deke Digital (“Deke”) respects the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) informs you about Deke’s policies and practices regarding the collection and use of information and lets you know about options that you have to control or restrict the availability and use of your information.

We provide different categories of users (collectively, “you”, “your”) with services, some of which are delivered via the Deke website, www.DekeDigital.com, or via a related website, including www.expertcommentary.com (each, a “Deke Website”), or which may be delivered directly to our customers and to the users of our customers. Deke Digital drives new business to its customers (a “Deke Customer”) through the production, distribution and activation of expert content, which may be further distributed to users of Deke Customers and to other users in similar fields of interest. (collectively, the “Services”). Whether you view or subscribe to content via a Deke Website or by directly receiving the Deke Services or by receiving content sent to you by a Deke Customer, we consider you to be a “User” of the Services.

Deke reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will usually inform you of any changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy on the Deke website. WHY DOES DEKE COLLECT INFORMATION?

Use of Information. Deke uses your information to communicate with you so as to provide you relevant information of interest to you and other members of your industry on behalf of itself and Deke Customers.
Aggregate Information & Anonymized Information. We may share aggregated information that does not include Personal Information with third parties for industry analysis, marketing and other purposes relating to our Services. Any aggregated information shared in these contexts will not contain your Personal Information.
Service Providers. We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Services, to provide the Services on our behalf, to perform research services, or to assist us in analyzing how our Services are used. These third parties will be provided access to your Personal Information or other information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and we will require all service providers to maintain the security of any information we disclose.
Customers. Deke Customers may have shared your Personal Information and other information with Deke and, as part of its performance of the Services, Deke may supplement and share additional information on Users back with Deke Customers.
Business Transfers & Affiliates. If Deke or the assets of Deke are acquired by another company, we may transfer your information in connection with that acquisition or sale and the acquiring company will possess the information (including your Personal Information) collected by us and it will assume the rights and obligations described in this Privacy Policy. We also may share your information with affiliates in the same corporate family as Deke.
Compliance with Laws & Law Enforcement. We may disclose your Personal Information to government or law enforcement officials or private parties if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable laws in the jurisdiction, to respond to valid legal process such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, or court order, to protect the property and rights of Deke or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, illegal, unethical or legally actionable.
HOW CAN YOU EDIT OR REMOVE YOUR PERSONAL OR OTHER INFORMATION?
In each communication that Users receive from us, you will be given the opportunity to unsubscribe so that you no longer receive further communications. You may contact us here with a request that we delete your Personal Information from our database, to access your information, or to correct or remove information associated with you that you no longer wish to include as part of the Services. We may securely retain an archived copy of your records for legitimate business purposes or as required by law. Please note that a request to Deke to delete information or to unsubscribe may not have the effect of providing such instructions to Deke Customers and that even if you unsubscribe we may continue to send you administrative messages regarding the Services.
HOW LONG WILL DEKE RETAIN INFORMATION?
Unless there is a specific legal or regulatory requirement for us to retain or delete information, we will retain your information for no longer than is reasonably necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected or for which it is to be further processed.
WHERE WILL INFORMATION BE STORED AND PROCESSED?
Deke is located in the United States. Accordingly, Personal Information we collect may be transferred to and stored in our servers or those of third parties that act on our behalf in the United States or other countries outside of the country where you are located. By using the Services you agree to the collection, transfer, storage and processing outside of your country or other territories where the information may have been collected, even if data laws are less protective than those in your country.
HOW SECURE IS THE INFORMATION?
Deke takes industry standard administrative, physical and technological measures to maintain the security of your information, however, please be aware that we are not able to fully eliminate all security risks or potential breaches. If we do learn of a breach of security, we will act promptly to correct it and inform you if any of your information was compromised.
WHAT IS THE POLICY TOWARDS CHILDREN?
We do not knowingly gather Personal Information about Users who are under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information from our files. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us here.
WHAT POLICIES APPLY TO THIRD PARTY WEBSITES, SERVICES AND APPLICATIONS?
The Services may contain links to Deke’s Customers or other third party applications, websites or services. Our display within the Services of links or referrals to other websites, services and applications does not always signify our endorsement of such other websites, services or applications or their content. We have no control over, do not review, and cannot be responsible for these outside websites, services or their content.
